Grief Counseling: In grieving our loses we are able to let them go and heal the pain. In our society we are given three days off work to bury a family member and we are expected to return to work as if nothing had occurred. Many of us repress the sadness we feel for so long that a we can no longer identify or express our feelings. In therapy we can access the unresolved grief and loss whether it was caused by death, divorce or abandonment. We can process the pain of the loss of a relationship, a job or our self-respect. This promotes healing. To learn more about the symptoms of unresolved grief click on the grief counseling button. |
